US Social Studies

history debate Social Studies courses at Centreville Layton School provide a sequential development of economy, geography, history and political science core concepts of human civilization.  Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and study skills.  Reading and writing skills are developed in coordination with Language Arts. Students learn the rights and responsibility of citizenship in the United States and how to understand and respect the cultures.
